J. Gail Patton Gail, a Republican elected in 1998, took office in January of 1999. Gails District 2, covers the eastern portion of Sanders County, which includes Dixon, Hot Springs, Lonepine ,Paradise, North Plains and Lynch Creek. Gail was born and raised on a ranch in Lonepine. Education: Masters in Agricultural Economics from Montana State. He worked 5 years as a statistician for the Department of Agriculture in Oregon and Iowa. He has ranched in the Hot Springs area since. Gail sits on the following Boards: Hot
